fatty1The Pizza Fatty!

 Well here we go my 1st long awaited recipe! This one is an easy but great party favorite..

 things you will need:

 

fatty2-2 pound ground sausage(you can use venison sausage)

  -6 strips of bacon(we use hickory smoked)

 -small can of mushrooms

  -package of pepperoni

  -Cheese(whatever you like)

  -pizza sauce

  -pork rub(grill mates)

The 1st step is to take the sausage and roll it out until its about 1/4 inch thick. Next step is to spread the pizza sauce very thin across the sausage leaving space on the edges of the sausage so that it wont spill out. Next add pepperoni,mushroom and cheese!  Now the tricky part! As your rolling up your Fatty make sure you tuck in your ends to keep everything inside..You want to roll it up so that it is longer in size (take a look at the pics I posted!). Your next step is to place your strips of bacon on plastic wrap, roll your fatty up in the bacon, and add the rub to your liking.  Next wrap your fatty up in the plastic wrap, leaving your sides longer so that you can pick it up by the ends.  Now roll it like a rolling pin on the counter top(this helps pack everything together). Then tuck the ends of plastic under and place in the freezer for 10 minutes(this will make fatty easier to handle before cooking). Remove plastic wrap, and place it on a cookie sheet.  Now bake in the oven at 235 degrees for 3 to 3 1/2 hours(you can smoke this if you like). Remove from oven and slice it like you would a loaf of bread and your done! This is just one way to make a Fatty, there are many other versions so feel free to add more stuff as you like and enjoy!
