I saw one run across M52 in Lenawee county a fews years ago. I couldn’t believe it! I am familiar with cougars, having lived in Idaho for a while, just didn’t expect to see one on my way in to work one morning here in Michigan. We hunted around them regularly in Idaho without any problems, though they did make me a little nervous.

i seen one in huron county last year, with my own eyes, it was maybe ten feet away, i was hunting and i seen it, it didnt see me though, thought it was a deer, until i seen the height and the tail. there definitely here.

back side of goose neck lake there’s 1 year olds cats.WE seen the big mom this time last year.And i live MASON,COUNTY.So yes there here.

I think cougars – and all the other big cats – are fascinating animals… but I sure wouldn’t want to encounter one while I was out in the woods!
