goes to show that you need to practice with your side arms before heading to the field. Without practicing drawing your side arm effectively there is no way someone could have done that so quick. Practice, practice, practice makes perfect. Good to see all got away safe including the bear. Thanks for posting the video.

incredible footage… it does make a person wonder how you would react to a situation like that… the mamma bear with cubs is one situation I think every outdoorsman hopes to avoid… Gary has had several
hair raising experiences with mother black bears that he’d just as soon not had! He now carries a side arm…

I’ll bet those guys had to pull over and let the adrenaline wear off a bit. Eight feet and he was shooting in the water, he’s got more discipline then I would have. Thats eight feet from cashing in the chips.
