Jeff strikes again!

Info

jeffbuck.jpgWell being that Art is a little crabby right now he says I have to write my own post! So here we go my 1st post!

I went out this morning to my lease in Eaton County knowing that the rut was in full swing. Set up in a 10 acre hardwoods where we have been seeing a lot of deer lately.  Well low and behold this bad boy stepped out at 50 yards checking one of his scrapes. I had to watch and wait him out for about 15 minutes(which seemed like an hour!).  I’m not going to lie this buck had me a little rattled!  He was as nervous as a deer gets- jumping and running at every animal that made a noise in the woods! He ended up working his way towards me and gave me a 18 yard shot, which hit perfect and he only went 50 yards before going down.

This is my 2nd biggest bow kill and my 1st big buck in a while. Hope everyone enjoyed the short version of this story. LOL.  Art, don’t worry, I have total faith in you that you will connect this weekend!
