Since I really don’t have much energy, or the motivation to write a serious post. And since I really haven’t done anything outdoorsy, I figured I should mention this.
My wife and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary yesterday. And Abby was the perfect gift for that so we really didn’t buy each other anything. Actually, to be honest, we didn’t even remember our anniversary until early in the afternoon.
The first few weeks of October are getting pretty busy for us: My birthday, my cousin’s birthday, opening day of bow season, Abby’s birthday, my uncle’s birthday, my dad’s birthday, my nephews’ birthdays, my sister-in-law’s birthday, and our anniversary — all before the second week is over.
I think I might have to start taking out a loan to buy all of these gifts.

Well, the nice part is that if you remember those two weeks you’re pretty much in the clear. That might be a good thing.
We have a few clusters of birthdays but for the most part we’re spread out throughout the year – that’s the way to do it!
Oh and just let your wife take care of getting most of those gifts – she can probably figure out how to do it ahead of time so that you don’t need a loan
Your October birthday list sounds like our September bunch,we have eight birthdays.
We have clusters of birthdays in April, July and November. The rest are spread out.
It is nice that you should keep your family birthdays in mind. Making them feel special is positively wonderful!
Well, some more congrats are in order, then!
Happy Anniversary to you and Jen! And just keep enjoying “little” Abby; she won’t stay that way long, I can assure you.
I know it’s late but I hope you and yours had a very Happy Anniversary. Having little Abby there made it whole and complete.
Happy Anniversary!
