Well a little a month after it’s scheduled finish the bathroom is finally done. Alright, so maybe it’s a month after the scheduled finish I had in my head and not the “in reality” timeline that came to be.
I have to admit that at times it was very frustrating and I had no idea how much this was actually going to cost, but we made it through it and we’re still married so that is a plus:)
Things like this just have a way of not going the way they are suppose to, especially when you’re working on a 100 yr old house. In the end though it looks awesome, and looking back at the old pictures I have no idea how we even used the bathroom before. One word; disgusting!
I have to thank Tom, Ron, and Ed for all of their efforts. It never would have gotten done without you guys, even if I did have to spend over half a day in a confined crawl space with Ron’s stinkiness. It was all worth it. The wife is happy and so I am. It looks freaking sweet (a Peter Griffin quote for those of you in the know).
So here are the pics in all their splendor. I’m going to put the before and after pictures next to each other. The before on the left and the after on the right:
In the end a job well done and the wife loves it. That is the most important part. Now maybe I can return to some outdoor activities. I did hear whispers of painting the dining room though so we’ll see. I’ll keep ya posted:)

I know who to call when we are in need of remodeling.
Defnitely looks better. I’d guess it was worth the work.

The BR looks great!
My “office” is in an 88 year old rock house, so I know what you mean when you say it costs to change the old ones. Luckily I get to sleep in my new ranch house!
For some reason I don’t have Simply Outdoors on my blog list. You have mine, Outdoor Odyssey, so I’ll quickly add your alls.
Very Nice… I know that was a lot of work!
