A few posts back I did a little story about getting kids involved in the outdoors.  I also made a reference in that post to one of my cousins and her desire to bowhunt.  The problem was was that she didn’t have a bow.   Now she does!

I can’t even take credit actually.  I have to give credit where credit is due!  My sister and her boyfriend were the heroes.  I had been looking for a bow, but everything I could find was a little out of our price range.  The sis and everyone headed over to another local archery dealer and stumbled upon this little Golden Eagle.  A very cool little bow and now she can join in shooting rather than spectating.

Now she is going to be shooting everyday and hopefully shooting well enough to be able to participate in the youth hunt at the end of next month.  I should be clear.  She is going to hunt in that no matter what, just a matter of if she can use her bow to hunt.  I’m telling you, if she keeps shooting the way she did tonight, I will have no problem with her hunting with it. She’s a natural.
